Dr Asim Hussain allowed to travel abroad for medical treatment

A Karachi accountability courtroom granted permission on Saturday for Dr Asim Hussain to depart the nation from November 27 to December 20.

Dr Asim, the pinnacle of Ziauddin Hospitals, is being investigated in a Rs17 billion corruption case.

He’s accused of fraudulently awarding contracts for 5 gasoline fields to the Jamshoro Joint Enterprise Restricted which allegedly induced a lack of Rs17.34 billion to the nationwide exchequer throughout his tenure as federal petroleum minister.

He says he has a medical appointment in London and requested the courtroom for permission to journey overseas. He has been receiving therapy in London for again points for some time.

The courtroom had on October 2 additionally allowed him to journey overseas for therapy from October 2 until October 30.
