Qureshi appreciates India’s ‘positive response’ to opening Kartarpur corridor for Sikh pilgrims

International Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi welcomed the choice of the Indian authorities to ship two of its ministers to attend the Kartarpur ceremony.

He mentioned that India responded positively to Pakistan’s initiative to convey the Sikh group nearer.

On November 22, Pakistan and India had agreed to open Kartarpur hall to facilitate Sikh pilgrims.

India will construct the hall from Dera Baba Nanak in Gurdaspur to the border with Pakistan.
