Sindh to extend solid waste management operation to other districts

KARACHI: A gathering chaired by provincial Chief Secretary Syed Mumtaz Ali Shah, determined to launch strong waste administration operation in all districts of Sindh.

The Managing Director Sindh, Strong Waste Administration Board, knowledgeable the assembly {that a} new laws concerning the strong waster administration shall be enacted within the province.

Beneath the proposed regulation dumping the waste at residential, industrial areas and public locations shall be declared an unlawful act and heavy wonderful shall be imposed on non-compliance of the regulation.

The chief secretary knowledgeable the assembly {that a} energy plant of 50 megawatt capability shall be put in to generate electrical energy from rubbish.

The Sindh authorities will write a letter to federal authorities for the undertaking, he added.

The chief secretary directed all deputy commissioners to submit month-to-month stories about strong waste administration of their respective districts.
