CM evaluations progress on Naya Pakistan Housing Scheme

LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar on Monday chaired a gathering and reviewed progress on Naya Pakistan Housing Scheme, at his workplace.

Chairman Naya Pakistan Housing Authority Lt-Gen (retd) Anwar Ali Haider additionally attended the assembly.

The assembly determined to take coordinated steps to speed up work on the scheme.

Addressing the assembly, Chief Minister Usman Buzdar mentioned that building of low-cost homes for low-income households was a flagship programme of the PTI authorities.

He mentioned that appropriate websites had been chosen in some districts of the province for the scheme, including that the mission would allow the middle-class to personal a home.

He mentioned that the issues pertaining to the mission needs to be settled early and hoped that Naya Pakistan Housing Scheme would create super employment alternatives.

The CM assured that the Punjab authorities would prolong each potential assist for fast work and the province would take a lead on this regard.

Deputy Chairman Naya Pakistan Housing Authority Maj-Gen Amer Aslam Khan, Advisor to CM Dr Suleman Shah, chief secretary, chairman P&D, secretaries of finance and housing departments, chairman Housing Taskforce Punjab Mian Yaqoob Tahir Izhar and others attended the assembly.
