BRUSSELS (AP) — The European Union is getting ready to impose extra sanctions on Venezuela focusing on officers who’re accused of being concerned in torture and different human rights violations.

EU overseas coverage chief Federica Mogherini stated in a press release Tuesday that it’s working with the U.N. to guarantee that human rights are revered in Venezuela following experiences of abuses by the safety forces.
