Gasoline tariff reverted to carry down roti prices- Samaa Digital

The Financial Coordination Committee (ECC) on Wednesday reverted the gasoline tariff for non-commercial tandoors to their pre-June 30 stage.

The transfer comes a day after Prime Minister Imran Khan had taken discover of the hike within the costs of naan and roti, and had ordered that their costs be reverted again to their earlier charges.

In consequence, the ECC has permitted a subsidy of Rs1.51 billion for gasoline connections at tandoors.
