Okay-Electrical’s workers assault on anti-encroachment workforce, three injured

KARACHI: Not less than three officers of Karachi Metropolitan Company (KMC) have been injured after they got here below assault by the workers of Okay-electric throughout an anti encroachment operation in Karachi, ARY Information reported.   

KMC senior director informed the journalists that the officers of Okay-Electrical attacked on the anti-encroachment workforce when it reached in Qayyumabad space of Karachi to clear the greenbelt.

He mentioned that when the workforce began operation to raze the unlawful rooms constructed by the Okay-Electrical on the greenbelt, the officers of the facility utility began resistance and attacked on the workforce; resultantly three members of the anti-encroachment workforce injured.

The director mentioned that the officers have been shifted to the hospital for medical therapy.

Earlier on March 20, Karachi Metropolitan Company (KMC)’s anti-encroachment division and district administration had continued operation to take away trespasses for the second day in Liaquatabad and FC Space of the metropolis.

Unlawful outlets and factories established on footpaths and inexperienced belt had  been razed by heavy equipment amid tight safety.

Numerous native residents had gathered within the areas in an obvious preparation to withstand the officers busy in eradicating encroachments.
