ISLAMABAD: Particular Assistant to Prime Minister on Data and Broadcasting Firdous Ashiq Awan on Monday stated Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) leaders overplayed arrest of Irfan Siddiqui to get political oxygen.

In her sequence of tweets, the SAPM stated, “The prime minister has sought a report concerning the incident occurred with Columnist Irfan Siddiqui, the choice might be taken in gentle of the details, and the accountable might be punished.”

She stated Irfan Siddiqui needed to endure as a result of lacunas within the system for which the Prime Minister is decided to take away.

 Siddiqui was arrested for violating tenancy regulation by Islamabad police on Friday and later launched on bail yesterday.
