FBR develops fastened tax regime for small merchants

The Federal Bureau of Income (FBR) has launched the draft of fastened tax scheme for small merchants and have requested their recommendations for the scheme.

The scheme particularly targets these small merchants who have been at the moment not within the tax web. By the fastened tax scheme, FBR has requested the small merchants to take profit from the scheme’s benefits and change into taxpayers to play an efficient function within the financial improvement of the nation. 

This was stated by Ahmed Hassan Moughal, President, Islamabad Chamber of Commerce & Trade whereas addressing a delegation of Merchants Welfare Affiliation, F-10 Markaz, Islamabad that visited ICCI led by its 

President Liaquat Butt. Tahir Abbasi Group Chairman, Akbar Siddiqui Chughtai Patron-in-Chief and others have been within the delegation.

Ahmed Hassan Moughal stated that by availing fastened tax scheme, small merchants wouldn’t be subjected to audit course of and would additionally get rid of many tax-related points. He stated that ICCI has been in touch with CDA, MCI, FBR, Police, ICT Administrations and different business-related organizations for resolving the important thing problems with the enterprise group. He additionally assured that the Chamber shall preserve working onerous to deal with all pending points.
