Punjab cupboard decides to increase full help to Ehsas programme

LAHORE: The Punjab cupboard assembly, with Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar within the chair, Wednesday determined to boost collaboration between provincial and federal governments for Ehsas programme.

The chief minister termed it a flagship initiative of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) authorities to raise the downtrodden segments of society.

“Punjab authorities would prolong full help to make it a hit within the province,” stated Punjab CM.

Particular Assistant to Prime Minister Dr Sania Nishtar gave a briefing to the assembly on Ehsas programme.

The cupboard assembly took varied different choices and gave approval for altering the title of cupboard sub-committee for flood to the cupboard sub-committee for catastrophe administration. Provincial Minister for Catastrophe Administration Mian Khalid Mehmood could be the convener of the sub-committee.

The assembly determined to close down Lahore Water and Sanitation Firm for being a non-active public sector entity. The chief minister sought a report to find out the way forward for different public sector corporations and directed to submit a closing report on the earliest.
