Navjot Singh Sidhu barred from coming into Pakistan by means of Attari border

The Indian authorities on Saturday barred Navjot Singh Sidhu from coming into Pakistan through the Attari-Wagah border, ARY Information reported.

On a particular directive from Prime Minister Imran Khan, PTI Senator Faisal Javed had approached Sidhu to increase the invitation for the grand ceremony on November 9 (in the present day).

Navjot Singh Sidhu was given permission by the Indian authorities to go to Pakistan to attend opening ceremony of Kartarpur Hall, however regardless of having a five-day visa the Indian authorities at Attari stopped the previous cricketer from coming into Pakistan.

On this regard, the sources mentioned that Sidhu will now enter Pakistan from Kartarpur hall.

It might be famous that on November 7, the Indian authorities had given political clearance to Navjot Sidhu to attend the Kartarpur hall opening ceremony in Pakistan.

The Indian authorities allowed Navjot Sidhu to attend Kartarpur opening after he wrote the third letter to the Ministry of Exterior Affairs looking for clearance to attend the occasion.

The Congress chief had written a 3rd letter to Indian govt during which he maintained that if he receives no response, he’ll go to the shrine throughout the border like “some other pilgrim”.
