An official of ECP mentioned that below Part 137 of the Elections Act, 2017, it’s necessary for the parliamentarians to submit yearly statements of the belongings owned by them, their partner and dependent youngsters.

Earlier on January 16, the Election Fee of Pakistan (ECP) had suspended membership of 332 parliamentarians over failing to submit particulars of their belongings.
