Sheikh Rasheed says govt to finish its constitutional tenure

KARACHI: Railways Minister Sheikh Rasheed stated on Monday that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) authorities will full its constitutional tenure, ARY Information reported.

Addressing a presser in Karachi, Sheikh Rasheed whereas ruling out the ‘minus one formulation’ stated that the incumbent authorities to finish its remaining tenure of three and half years.

The minister stated the federal government will take higher choice relating to appointment of the chief election commissioner (CEC) with the session of the opposition.

On the question of Chief of Military Workers Common Qamar Javed’s extension, Rasheed stated that this matter can be resolved quickly too.

Taking up his political opponents former prime minister Nawaz Sharif and former president Asif Ali Zardari, the railways minister stated he see no way forward for each [Nawaz, Zardari] in nation’s politics.

The minister stated efforts underway to uplift the railways departments and on this regard tenders have additionally been issued.
