PISHIN: Customs authorities on Saturday confiscated large amount of smuggled cigarettes close to Pishin, an space in Balochistan province, ARY NEWS reported.
In accordance with customs officers, the motion was carried out in Yaro space when the authorities intercepted a truck carrying onions.
The truck was completely checked and it was discovered that cigarettes had been hidden within the guise of onions transported from Afghanistan.
The recovered cigarettes amounted to Rs 40 million and had been transported within the nation with out paying due taxes and fulfilling different formalities.

Sources stated that smuggled cigarettes price Rs200 1000’s had been recovered in separate raids by the Excise Division in varied areas of the capital metropolis.
The officers performed raids over 50 retailers in sector F-11, E-9 and different areas of the town and issued challans to over 47 shopkeepers over promoting smuggled cigarettes.
