KARACHI: Within the title of overcoming flour disaster in Karachi, substandard and expired wheat is reportedly being provided to the flour mills within the metropolis metropolis, ARY Information reported.

In response to sources, a minimum of 100,000 outdated wheat luggage are being provided to Karachi from a godown of the meals division in Shikarpur.

The wheat had been bought in 2017, the sources added.

The sources additional mentioned that as many as 70,000 wheat luggage price million of rupees are lacking from a godown. Out of 270,000 wheat luggage, 70,000 have reportedly been misappropriated in collaboration with the officers of the meals division.

Confirming the report, the warehouse’s in-charge mentioned that an inquiry is underway on this regard.
