A man suspected of being the host of the coronavirus was reportedly admitted to Nishtar Hospital in Multan, the National Institute of Health (NIH) reported in a press release issued on Saturday. “A suspicious case is admitted in isolation from Multan at this time. Its clinical condition is stable and does not appear to be a case of a new coronavirus. Relevant samples were taken,” the NIH press release said.

According to Dr. Atta ur Rehman, the focal person of Multan and South Punjab for Epidemic Diseases, a 40-year-old Chinese man identified as Feng Fen, was transferred last night from the Chinese camp in the Industrial Estate to Nishtar Hospital. The man had returned to Pakistan from Wuhan 10 days ago.
