Govt dolls out Rs600m for uplift of Islamabad’s rural areas

ISLAMABAD: The capital metropolis administration has been supplied with Rs600 million funds for uplifting rural areas and suburbs of Islamabad.

This was revealed by Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Hamza Shafqaat in collection of tweets at this time.

He stated: “After immense efforts from @Asad_Umar and @AliAwanPTI, Islamabad Administration has been supplied with Rs 600 million approx for uplifting of rural areas and suburbs of the Islamabad.”

“Whole 47 small initiatives had been recognized with the assistance of native UCs which have now been tendered,” he added.

The deputy commissioner defined these initiatives are mainly a part of the Sustainable Improvement Objectives as Pakistan is a signatory to the UNDP. “Focus of the initiatives is provision of entry to well being, schooling, clear water and higher surroundings. These initiatives won’t solely enhance the economic system of the town but additionally generate employment.”
