Jam Kamal will remain CM Baluchistán, says president of the Senate

ISLAMABAD: Expressing satisfaction with the performance of Jam Kamal Khan, Senate President Sadiq Sanjrani said Friday that he will continue to be Balochistan’s prime minister, ARY News reported.

Speaking with the president of the Balochistan Assembly, Abdul Qudddus Bizenjo, the president of the Senate stressed the need for dialogues to solve the problems.

He said that the Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) is a mass party and added that it had become the largest party in the province in the 2018 elections.

Speaking on the occasion, Qudddus Bizenjo said there are problems in the homes, but that it is the responsibility of the elderly to solve them. He said the country will be strengthened by strengthening Balochistan.

It is pertinent to mention here that Bizenjo had filed a privilege motion against Balochistan CM on January 24. He believed that the CM’s comments on him were unnecessary and not parliamentary.

Earlier on January 23, Prime Minister Balochistan Jam Kamal had said he was not paying much attention to the comments of the president of the Baluchistan Assembly, Abdul Quddus Bizenjo, and had said that the province’s coalition government had acted after come to power.

He had said that the government should only be judged for the work he had done instead of throwing blame between them.

“It would not matter if I say that the Center or a province is not working according to my expectations,” he said.
