Man carrying ice drug nabbed at Islamabad airport  

ISLAMABAD: Airport Safety Pressure (ASF) authorities on Sunday nabbed a passenger for carrying ice medication whereas touring to Saudi Arabia from Islamabad Worldwide Airport, ARY NEWS reported.

In accordance with the ASF, a passenger was carrying 1800 grams of ice drug when the regulation enforcement personnel on the airport intercepted him.

Throughout a radical checking of the bags accompanied by the passenger, it was revealed that he had hid the drug in secret parts of his bag.

The authorities seized the drug from his possession and handed him over to the Anti-Narcotics Pressure (ANF) personnel for additional authorized proceedings.

In December 2019, police claimed to have arrested a person accused of supplying ice medication to college students at Islamabad universities.

In accordance with police, the motion was taken by Lohi Bher police station through which it arrested a person concerned in supplying crystal methamphetamine within the capital.

“The accused was concerned in bringing the drug from Peshawar and supplying it to college students at varied universities in Islamabad,” they mentioned.

The police additionally recovered 510 grams of the drug from his possession.
