ISLAMABAD: President Dr. Arif Alvi has said that Pakistan is emerging as an attractive destination for tourists and investors.
Addressing a “Lahore Biennale 02” ceremony in Lahore, Dr. Alvi said that Pakistan is opening and there are no longer any clouds of insecurity, Radio Pakistan reported.
The president said that nothing is better than the arts and culture, which have ample potential to unite people and strengthen social cohesion in society.
Dr. Arif Alvi said it is important to encourage people to visit museums and other similar places to connect with history, the arts and culture.
He said that the opening of Kartarpur is a big step in many aspects.

Last year, on December 14, the best luxury travel magazine in the world, Condé Nast Traveler He had compiled the list of the best holiday destinations by 2020 and Pakistan had surpassed it.
The list presents 20 different holiday destinations, and Pakistan had been ranked as number one for adventure trips.
It was compiled considering that the destinations are geographically diverse, from ecotourism to adventure. This was a positive sign for the country that has seen an influx of international tourists and travel bloggers in recent times.
The magazine’s three main destinations were Pakistan, Plymouth in the United Kingdom and Kyrgyzstan.
