MANSEHRA: A cleric who was caught in connection with a brutal sexual assault on a minor turns out to be the rapist after medical tests coincided with the samples taken from the abused child, ARY News reported Saturday.
On December 29, police arrested a seminary teacher accused of assaulting a child in the Mansehra district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province (KP).

Police raided the possible hiding places and arrested the first defendant, identified as Qari Shamsuddin.
The victim was hospitalized after being subjected to a heinous sexual assault by her Shamsuddin seminary teacher in the vicinity of Phulra, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Deputy Inspector General Mansehra said the seminar operated by the “pedophile cleric” had been sealed.
The boy had suffered tremendous physical and mental torture, the Madrassah, which was not registered and administered privately, housed 120 students.
