In the month of November last year, an American woman with her name on a blacklist landed at the Islamabad airport.

Murray Maude, 80, flew from Manchester via a Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) flight, PK-702.

Immigration officers from the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) had intercepted the old woman for being blacklisted.

Upon being informed of his deportation, he refused to fly back to the United States and began shouting.

He lay down on the floor of the airport in protest and insisted that he be allowed to stay in the country.

Sources said he had arrived in Pakistan on a six-month visa in 2001, but stayed there even though his visa had expired.
