LAHORE: Three workers were killed and four others were injured when a building under construction in Shafiqabad, Lahore, collapsed on Friday, ARY News reported.
According to rescue sources, three workers who work in the building under construction lost their lives under the rubble of the building and four others suffered injuries.
Upon obtaining information about the incident, rescue teams arrived at the scene and recovered two injured workers from the remains of the collapsed building and took them to the hospital.

The rescue operation to recover two others injured from the debris was underway.
Earlier on February 11, at least eight people lost their lives and seven were injured after a three-story residential building collapsed in the city of Muzaffargarh, in Punjab.
The bodies and injured people, including a critically ill child, were taken to DHQ Hospital.

Rescue sources said the building was in poor condition and collapsed after the construction of an adjacent market.
Police said six people in a family died in the incident. There are also two people among the deceased who came to the building to meet their relatives.
