42 boys fall sick after eating orphanage food in DG Khan

As many as 42 boys fell sick after consuming daal and milk in Dera Ghazi Khan’s Mannequin Youngsters Dwelling on Monday.

Of them, 27 had been reported to be critically in poor health and had been admitted to the Educating Hospital, DG Khan.

MPA Shahina Najeeb Khosa visited the hospital to examine on the youngsters. “They drank milk after consuming meals, which triggered meals poisoning,” she mentioned. “The youngsters had been shifted to the hospital at night time.”

The docs reported that the youngsters had diarrhea once they got here. “Regardless of restricted assets, the youngsters had been handled on time,” mentioned Dr Shakeel ul-Rehman, in-charge of the youngsters’s ward.

The Punjab Meals Authority collected samples from the orphanage’s kitchen after receiving orders from the Punjab chief minister.

The youngsters had been reported to be in steady situation. The reason for the alleged meals poisoning is being investigated. A report might be submitted to the Punjab chief minister inside 24 hours.
