ISLAMABAD: A Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) surveillance team caught an Afghan citizen while traveling to Canada with a false passport from Islamabad airport, ARY News reported Thursday.
According to the details, an Afghan citizen named Mirzada was trying to travel to Canada through the PIA flight no PK-781. The PIA surveillance team asked him to show his documents when in doubt that he could be traveling with fake documents.
The travel documents provided by Mirzada were tested by officials of the Federal Research Agency (FIA).
He was handed over to the FIA immigration wing to investigate more about the matter.
