Since Microsoft announced Windows 10X in October, it has been the new fashion. After all, there hasn’t been something new like this with Windows 10 since, well, Windows 10 was born from the first technical Previews of late 2014 and early 2015.
Earlier this week, the company launched the first Windows 10X emulator, giving many their first chance to play with the operating system. Of course, it was only a matter of time until someone ran it on real hardware, and that was exactly what happened yesterday.
Now, there is actually a tutorial to install it. And no children, you probably shouldn’t try this at home; If you do, you are doing it at your own risk. Most likely, if you do not understand the steps you are taking, you will not be able to do so. It is not a simple procedure like the one created to install Windows 10 completely on a Lumia 950.
Steve Troughton-Smith was able to run Windows 10X on a Surface Go, and apparently the experience is quite fluid, rather than running it on a Hyper-V virtual machine.
Finally, I injected my controllers into Surface Go, so I accelerated the video and played Windows 10X. There is no WiFi so far. This is probably the softest that this device has run an operating system hahaha pic.twitter.com/5TfNbmYenP

Of course, the next step is probably for someone to create a more agile installation experience, such as the one described above for Windows on ARM running on the Lumia 950. However, we have not yet arrived, and should probably stay away from it. .
