Naeemul Haque rests in the tomb of Gizri in Karachi

KARACHI: Naeemul Haque, a prominent politician and defender of Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) in Pakistan, was buried in the midst of tremendous grief and grief in the Gizri cemetery in DHA, ARY News reported.

Funeral prayers were offered in Masjid Aisha, Khayaban-e-Ittehad in the Karachi DHA.

The governor of Sindh, Imran Ismail, the governor of Punjab, Chaudhry Sarwar, along with several federal and provincial ministers attended the funeral prayers.

The deceased special advisor to the Prime Minister and personal friend of Imran Khan, died Saturday night after a long battle with cancer.

On Twitter, Prime Minister Imran Khan said Naeemul Haque was one of the founding members of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) and was by far the most loyal of its members.

Prime Minister Imran Khan praised Haque’s contributions to the party for the past 23 years and paid great tribute to the services he provided for him and Pakistan.
