Karachi: The industrial sector has demanded medical emergencies in Sindh after the diagnosis of the Karuna virus in Karachi.

The industrial sector has expressed concern about the diagnosis of the Karuna virus in Karachi, calling for a medical emergency in Sindh, suggesting the closure of the Iranian border as a precautionary measure and temporarily blocking land and air links.

Abdullah Abid, president of the Federal Association of Commerce and Industry of Area B, said that the responsibility of the institutions and the government in question has increased after the deadly virus was detected in Sindh. He called on the government to immediately implement a medical emergency in the province to prevent the spread of the coronavirus while establishing quarantine camps at the airport, internal and external routes of the Sindh province to diagnose the virus. Equipped with devices so that a deficiency in the diagnosis of the virus cannot be made and the life of the public is protected.

He said the industrial sector is showing patience despite the suspension of the import of raw materials from China in view of the possible spread of the Corona virus, which is causing problems for industries to continue production activities due to lack of materials basic bonuses Due to the suspension of import activities, the supply of raw materials to industries is not possible due to demand and profits have doubled the prices of such raw materials as soon as they have the opportunity.
