Application filed in the Sindh High Court against the shortage of masks in Karachi

Fear of panic has spread in Pakistan after the diagnosis of Karuna virus. The Sindh High Court has filed a petition against the scarcity of masks and expensive sale in the city.

The petition filed in the Sindh High Court held that the government took no action to address concerns about the Karuna virus. The petition states that the government did not create any emergency plans in hospitals, nor did it make any SOP.

The applicant has demanded that measures be taken against sellers and expensive stockbrokers and parties that guarantee the cheap sale of the mask should be banned.

The petitioner has made the principal secretaries of the Federal Government, the Federal Ministry of Health, the Government of Sindh and all the provinces.
