Islamabad Internet use in Pakistan has increased by 15% due to a national blockade to prevent the Corona virus.
According to information released by telecommunications operators to the Pakistan Telecommunications Authority (PTA), the online activities of educational institutions and business centers have increased, according to a statement released by the PTA. And last week there was a 15% increase in Internet use due to organizations’ policy on home-to-office work.
The statement says that the Internet’s ability to provide Internet services in the country is satisfactory. The PTA is reviewing the use of the Internet to ensure the availability of fast and efficient telecommunications services for consumers during these difficult times.
