Prime Minister Imran Khan will arrive today in Karachi

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan will arrive in Karachi on a one-day visit to attend a check distribution ceremony under the “Kamyab Jawan Program” on Monday, ARY News reported.

According to the Office of the Prime Minister, Prime Minister Imran Khan will be the main guest at the check distribution ceremony.

The prime minister will also attend an organized fundraising event at Shaukat Khanam Memorial Cancer Hospital.

During this visit, you will meet with the delegation of prominent businessmen of the city.

The sources said that a meeting between Prime Minister Imran Khan and Sindh Prime Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah is also expected today, in which Governor Imran Ismail will also be present.

The prime minister is also expected to hold a separate meeting with I.G. Sindh Kaleem Imam police.

Prime Minister Imran Khan will attend an information session on the Karachi Package and federally funded projects in Sindh, the sources added.

Early in the day, Prime Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah had called Governor Imran Ismail in his office.

During the meeting, issues related to the visit of Prime Minister Imran to Karachi and the steps to solve the problems of the people of Sindh were discussed.

“The welfare of the people of Sindh is the main agenda of Prime Minister Imran,” he said, adding that the federal government was taking all necessary measures to solve the problems facing the people of Sindh.
