Amputee police officer gets artificial arm after five years

KARACHI: Efforts of Senior Superintendent Police (SSP) East are bearing fruit now as an official of Sindh Police expressed excessive happiness after getting a man-made arm which he misplaced in a site visitors accident 5 years in the past, ARY Information reported on Thursday.

SSP East and former Extra Inspector Common (AIG) Welfare Ghulam Azfar Mahesar performed a key function in facilitating the disabled police official.

Sub-inspector Anwar Sangi had misplaced his arm in 2014 in a site visitors accident whereas he was deployed at Metal City space of Karachi, the metropolis of Pakistan.

A man-made arm was implanted to Anwar Sangi over the course of Inspector Common Sindh Police Syed Kaleem Imam.

After getting his new arm, Sangi stated, “I’m very grateful to IG Sindh Syed Kaleem Imam. I used to be going through difficulties in my routine duties after shedding my hand for 5 years.

The implantation was facilitated by Azfar Mahesar underneath the brand new reformation strikes being taken within the Sindh Police division.

Whereas speaking to ARY Information, Mahesar stated, “Greater than 35 officers are disabled in Sindh Police. Many a  personnel bought disabled in police counters, bomb blasts and different accidents.”

“Inspector Common Sindh Welfare Division is bringing extra reformations within the provincial police,” he added.

“The disabled police workers will likely be given particular bikes designed as per their necessities. New police reformations will even improve the morale of the division’s workers,” Mahesar concluded.
