The high profile tour of the Indian cricket team to Australia is something everyone related to this sport is very interested in. Not only because of the fact that these two teams might have one of the biggest rivals in modern cricket, but also because of the amount of money used in this series.
With all cricket activities suspended since March due to the coronavirus pandemic, this high profile tour is expected to start a global cricket economy and is therefore very important. According to a report in The Australia, as mentioned by Fox Cricket, the venue for the four Test series has been completed.
India, aside from playing regular tests in Melbourne and Sydney, will play the opening test in Brisbane, where they have never won. Virat Kohli’s team avoided Gabba on the last tour, when India won its first Test series in Australia.
The second test is scheduled to take place in Adelaide which will be an evening event. If everything goes according to plan then this will be India’s second night test and the first in a foreign country.
The report also mentioned that BCCI had agreed to play three ODI in Australia in January 2021 and the Australian Cricket was in discussions with the Indian council to include two more matches.
