SAO PAULO (Reuters) – Brazilian Petrobras said on Tuesday that four platforms in the Buzios field located in the Santos Basin, off the coast of Rio de Janeiro, reached a record daily production on Monday.
The platforms, called P-74, P-75, P-76 and P-77, produce combined oil of 674,000 barrels per day and oil equivalent of 844,000 barrels per day. The Buzios field is considered the largest deep sea oil field in the world, Petrobras said.
