That Digital Accelerator Program starting with the launch of the Sony Music Brazil hackathon challenge – code / stage – the first hackathon of a major music company ever held Brazil. Participants created more than 30 projects during the Hackathon with three winning projects announced today:
Feel the music – A project that seeks to allow deaf people to enjoy music. AI identifies the rhythm of the music track and translates it into vibrations from the user’s smartphone. As a result, the deaf can feel the vibrations of the song and immerse themselves in the music.
AVAI (Audio Visual AI) – A project that leverages AI to help consumers match music playlists to specific images. With just one picture entry, music lovers can enjoy playlists tailored to the moment reflected in the image, providing music that is in tune with the user’s mood.
Filtr Hit – A project that accelerates music consumption through ML, by helping artists spark more interaction and engagement with fans through various challenges as consumers use Sony Music Brazil’s repertoire in their social media videos.
Apart from receiving prizes, the winners will also work with the Sony Music Brazil team to develop their projects for real-world applications.
