Juventus superstar Cristiano Ronaldo has now surpassed football legends Skin to move up to second place in the all-time goalscorers list.

The 35-year-old Portuguese superstar was in action for Juventus on Sunday and opened the scoring in the first half against Udinese with a superb shot past the helpless Juan Musso.

Ronaldo returned in the second half to score his second goal as Juventus extended their lead to 3-0 at Allianz Stadium.

The Portugal captain’s brace saw him score the 758th goal of a glittering career, putting him one goal ahead of Pele on the all-time list.

Only Prague Slavic legend Josef Bican has scored more goals than any other player in history with 805 goals in 530 games between 1931 and 1955.

Ronaldo, who scored an incredible 450 goals during nine glorious years at Real Madrid, recorded his 700th career goal last year.

The former Manchester United star’s super-agent, Jorge Mendes, said at the time that his client would surpass Pele’s goalscoring feat while at Juventus.

The 54-year-old Portuguese football agent told Sky Sports: “The numbers do not lie and illuminate the extraordinary way Cristiano Ronaldo broke the record, which elevated him to the category of best player in football history, by a huge difference compared to the second. [best] for all he has accomplished with the different clubs he represents, be it in England, Spain or now in Italy as well as with the Portuguese national team. ”

Mendes added: “Cristiano has reached an incredible milestone with 700 goals, but I am sure he will surpass Pele as the best goalscorer in football history, and he will do it with Juventus.”
