At least 553 people have died from the new corona virus in Brazil, according to data from the Ministry of Health released on Monday (6). Sixty-seven new deaths were reported in the past 24 hours.
According to the balance sheet, the country has 12,056 confirmed cases of the disease. The day before, there were 11,130 cases.
However, the ministry has reported that the number of actual cases tends to be higher, because only severe cases of patients treated in hospitals are tested, and there are cases that are still awaiting confirmation.

Ceará has 1013 cases and 29 deaths.
Acre and Tocantins are the only states that do not register deaths from the virus.
