BRAZIL (Reuters) – Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro said on Thursday that some countries are too far in their social isolation measures to fight the corona virus, and that steps must be taken as soon as possible to bring the economy out of intensive care.

Speaking to reporters after a meeting with the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, Economy Minister Paulo Guedes and business leaders, Bolsonaro said he fully supported Guedes’ call to reduce salary increases for several public sector workers for two years.
