CAA bans use of cell phones at Peshawar airport after video goes viral

KARACHI: Following the video of many passengers popping out of the bags conveyor belt of the Bacha Khan Worldwide Airport Peshawar, the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has imposed a ban on the usage of cell phones by Peshawar airport staff throughout responsibility hours, ARY Information reported.

The regulation comes after ARY Information aired the information about passengers popping out of the bags vent’s conveyor belt on the Peshawar airport together with the bags.

Based on a notification issued by CAA, the Bacha Khan Worldwide Airport (Peshawar) staff won’t be allowed to make use of cell telephones throughout responsibility hours.

Earlier on Sept 5, the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) on Wednesday declared a ban on consuming Gutka, Naswar and Paan on the Jinnah Worldwide Airport Karachi.

“Strict motion can be taken towards an worker if caught consuming Gutka and Naswar at premises of the airport,” mentioned CAA in a notification.
