Effective May 8, 2020, several International Experience Canada (IEC) visa holders are released from Canadian coronavirus travel restrictions.
Only IEC participants have a valid job offer and a port of entry of cover letter can now come to Canada, according to Canadian Immigration and Citizens Refugees (IRCC), even though IRCC recommends these people continue to check their website for renewal.
Canada considers anyone who comes to the country to work during the coronavirus period as an “essential” traveler.
IEC participants with job offers must pay attention to this obligatory to quarantine itself for 14 days after arriving in Canada and need to provide its own quarantine plan to the authorities.
Only four Canadian airports currently accepting international flights: Vancouver (YVR), Calgary (YYC), Montreal (YUL), and Toronto (YYZ).
IEC allows young people, generally aged between 18-35, to obtain open work permit in Canada for between 1-2 years.
This young man is a Canadian citizen peer country such as Australia, New Zealand, Chile, Costa Rica, most European Union member countries, United Kingdom, Switzerland, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan and South Korea.
