Bullet recovered from feminine passenger’s baggage at Multan airport

MULTAN: Airports Safety Power (ASF) personnel have recovered a pistol’s bullet from the baggage of a feminine passenger at Multan Worldwide Airport, ARY Information reported on Thursday.

The girl has mentioned to the safety officers that the bullet was mistakenly left in her baggage, mentioned ASF sources.

Nevertheless, the lady was allowed to depart the airport after completion of authorized procedures.

Earlier on July 11, Airport Safety Power (ASF) had foiled a bid of smuggling medicine overseas from the Islamabad airport.

As per particulars, officers of the ASF recovered 824 grams of medicine from a passenger from a Doha-bound flight.

The arrested man was recognized as Inayatullah, a resident of Hangu. The medicine have been hid within the inexperienced tea, the passenger was carrying with him, the officers mentioned.

The passenger was handed over to the Anti-Narcotics Power (ANF) for additional investigation into the matter by the ASF officers.
