The eunuchs protest in front of the police station against the arrests

SAWAT: Eunuchs outraged on Saturday organized a protest in front of the Mingora police station blaming the police authority for arresting their peers, reported ARY NEWS.

The transgender, who met in front of the police station, attacked the officials and asked them to arrest some of them.

The eunuchs blamed the police for letting go of the men who attacked them yesterday. However, the authorities denied their claim and said that those who were registered in the report are caught and a shawl is being prepared against them.

On December 30, 2019, Prime Minister Imran Khan launched the Sehat Sahulat program for the transgender community at a ceremony held in Islamabad here on Monday.

When addressing a ceremony, Prime Minister Imran Khan said the acting government decided to take responsibility for the transgender community, as previous regimes completely ignored them.

Prime Minister Imran said that 2020 will be the year of growth as Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) will create job opportunities for the people of Pakistan.

“The PTI government stabilized the economy in 2019 and, starting next year, the acting government will generate job opportunities for the Pakistani people and bring more programs to improve youth,” he added.

He said the introduction of “Insaf Ration Cards” is in progress and that the government will soon launch the program to eradicate the country’s poverty. Prime Minister Khan also distributed the Sehat Insaf card to transgender people.
