Two passengers with fake travel documents trapped in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD: Two passengers were arrested by officials of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) at Islamabad airport for possessing fake travel documents, ARY News reported Friday.

Sources said passengers arrived in Islamabad from China and Malaysia with fake travel documents. FIA officials have transferred the arrested people to a human smuggling cell for further investigation.

Earlier on January 28, the Civil Aviation Authorities (CAA) captured five people for attempting to board a flight with false and forged passports and documents in Islamabad.

According to the details, the detainees were trying to fly from Pakistan to Malaysia.

According to the CAA spokesman, individuals were trying to board the flight with regular paper visas while one of them, Shahid was willing to travel with a fake electronic visa.
