KARACHI: The governor of Sindh, Imran Ismail, ordered Wednesday to provide all possible assistance and financial help to the bereaved family of the murdered journalist, Aziz Memon, reported ARY News.
Speaking to Pakistan, the Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) parliamentary leader in the Sindh Assembly, Haleem Adil Sheikh, who summoned him in Karachi, Governor Imran Ismail said doubts are being raised about the police performance of Sindh, since they are still charged in the murder case. usually.
Haleem Adil Sheikh stressed the need for financial assistance for the children of the murdered journalist.
Meanwhile, police have registered a murder case against five suspects on behalf of Aziz Memon’s brother. His brother, Hafeez Memon, told police he had seen his brother go with Owais Qureshi and four other people that day and added that after three hours, his body had been recovered from a canal in the area.

Earlier on February 16, the president of the Mehrabpur press club, Aziz Memon, was strangled to death in the Naushero Feroze district of Sindh province.
According to police, the journalist was found dead and initially, the investigation found that he was strangled with a cable.
“The police are waiting for the post mortem report to confirm the real cause of his death,” they said.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah had taken note of the murder of Aziz Memon and convened a detailed report on the matter of Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIGP) Shaheed Benazirabad.
