China to deposit $2.1bn with Pakistan by Monday: finance ministry

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan will obtain mortgage price ¥15bn ($2.1bn) from China by Monday, stated finance ministry on Thursday.    

Finance ministry spokesperson Dr. Khaqan Najeeb Khan confirmed that the State Financial institution of Pakistan (SBP) would  obtain 15 billion yuan mortgage from China by Monday.

He stated that every one procedural formalities for the switch of the mortgage being offered to Pakistan by the Beijing had been accomplished and the quantity can be deposited within the SBP account by March 25.
