Andrew Luck is coping with a foot damage.
The 28-year-old quarterback suffered the damage whereas scrambling within the Colts preseason recreation in opposition to the 49ers on Saturday. He was held out of Indianapolis’ apply Monday.
Coach Frank Reich informed reporters Luck would have been capable of play if the group had a regular-season recreation this week. He described the damage as “minor.”

Luck has accomplished 20 of his 32 passes for 204 yards with a landing and an interception in three 2018 preseason video games. He missed all of final season after he underwent shoulder surgical procedure to restore a torn labrum in January 2017.
Luck stated his shoulder felt “superior” after Indianapolis’ 23-17 win over San Francisco.
“I truly really feel superb, sturdy, my shoulder felt alive,” Luck stated Saturday (via ESPN). “I used to be somewhat happier with the place the ball went once I threw it. I preserve feeling and seeing enchancment. Hold working at it.”
The Colts will end the preseason in opposition to the Bengals on Thursday. They’ll face Cincinnati once more in Week 1 motion on Sept. 9.
