KARACHI: Pakistan Navy, Customs and Maritime Safety Company in a joint operation seized 170 kilograms of artificial heroin and 100 kilograms of crystal meth in Jiwani, Balochistan.
In an announcement issued in the present day, the Pakistan Navy’s spokesperson stated medication had been captured from a ship named Al-Qambar.
The spokesperson stated the worth of the recovered medication is estimated at Rs2.74 billion.
Earlier, on Oct 18, the Pakistan Coast Guards had seized a drug haul value over Rs373 million and arrested two girls.
In keeping with a spokesperson for the Coast Guards, a passenger bus coming from Quetta was intercepted on the Naka Khari check-post.
Upon search of the baggage of the 2 girls passengers, 4 kilograms of heroin, two kilograms of crystal meth and two kilograms of high-end cannabis had been recovered, he stated.
The spokesperson stated the seized medication’ worth was estimated at Rs373.46 within the world market.
Following the seizure, the ladies had been arrested and a probe into the matter launched, he added.
