ISLAMABAD: Election Fee of Pakistan has suspended membership of 332 lawmakers (Senators, Member Nationwide Meeting and provincial assemblies), who failed to offer particulars of their belongings and properties.
The electoral physique issued the checklist of 332 members of the parliament whose membership has been suspended on its official web site.
The MPs whose membership has been suspended embody Data Minister Fawad Chaudhry, Deputy Speaker Qasim Khan Suri, Amir Kiyani, Ahsan Iqbal, BNP chief Akhtar Mengal, Raheela Magsi, Sarfraz Ahmed Bugti, Akhtar Mengal, Ch. Nisar Ali Khan, Muhammad Taimur Talpur and others.
The suspended lawmakers shall stop to perform as such members with speedy impact until such statements are submitted by them, mentioned the ECP.
Out of 1174 MPs, 839 lawmakers have submitted particulars of their belongings, whereas, 332 have been suspended.
