Michelle Keegan has thanked the heroic NHS staff in her hometown for working 12 more hours on the front lines of the coronavirus.
Our Girl actress and former Corrie star shared a tweet from the intensive care staff at Stepping Hill Hospital in Stockport to 3.5 million followers with a message of appreciation.
Stepping Hill ICU said: “Our extraordinary ICU team spent Easter Sunday working another 12 hour shift to look after those who most need #nhsheroes # COVID19 # proud2care #stockportnhs #teamwork #ClapForCarers.”
And Michelle, best known as medical officer Georgie Lane in the BBC One drama, Our Girl and Tina McIntyre in Coronation Path, retweet it with the love heart emoji stream.
“Absolute hero! Thank you,” he wrote.
“They are heroes and from my hometown too. Thank you for the mention,” said a follower.

He posted a snap along with a few words for his followers during COVID-19 pandemic.
