From After Life season two to Too Hot to Handle, there are several good options to watch on Netflix over the next few days
We might be looking at extended locking, but fortunately Netflix still there for us with some really brilliant new TV shows and films released next week. From the action film Chris Hemsworth to the return of Ricky Gervais’ After Life, here are our top choices for new content released on Netflix over the next week …
High rises – Friday 17 April
The synopsis of this interesting true story reads: “Increased Height tells the story of the rise and fall of two real estate fraudsters. Viktor Stein, Gerry Falkland and banker Nicole Kleber became very rich in a short time. But soon they are sucked deeper and deeper into the vortex of lies, deception and deception – to the point where they really lose sight of reality and have to decide what really matters to them. ”
Sergio – Friday 17 April
Inspired by true stories, the film follows Sergio Vieira de Mello, who has spent most of his high-level career as a high-ranking UN diplomat working in the most unstable regions of the world. Too Hot to Handle – Friday 17 April
Need something new to watch now that love is blind and sown? The show follows ten singles who gather on a tropical island in hopes of finding love. The only problem is, they have to give us all kinds of physical relationships if they want to win big prizes. Every time they kiss, hold hands or … do something else … their prize money will go down. With this in mind, will serial singles form deeper emotional connections? Or will the temptation be too hot to handle?

Earth and Blood – Friday 17 April
Synopsis for Earth and Blood reads: “Saïd has a sawmill deep in the forest, which he decided to sell to ensure a better future for his 18-year-old daughter, Sarah. The Last Dance season one – Monday April 20
The synopsis of the documentary reads: “In the fall of 1997, Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls began their quest to win their sixth NBA title in eight years. Middleditch & Schwartz – Tuesday April 21
Like a bit of improvised comedy? See Thomas Middleditch and Ben Schwartz’s collections of three Netflix special comedies that are completely improvised – all based on random audience suggestions. In the opening episode, the couple played two friends, one of whom had an important job interview leading to an existential crisis involving photography, The New York Times and JFK airport bathroom stalls.
The Willoughbys – Tuesday April 21
This unique animated film, based on a book by Lois Lowry, follows the four children of Willoughby. After they are abandoned by their selfish parents, they must learn how to adapt their ancient values to the contemporary world – and create their own new and modern families. Based on a book by a Newbery Award-winning writer, Lois Lowry. The film features all-star voice actors including Ricky Gervais, Maya Rudolph, Will Forte, Martin Short, Alessia Cara and Jane Krakowski.
After the second life season – Friday April 24
Following the great success of the first season, new installments of the comedy drama Ricky Gervais followed him as he tried to help those who helped him after his wife’s death. While still struggling with sadness, the second season saw Tony try to become a better friend, dealing with a variety of different problems, while also facing unemployment because the local newspaper was in danger of closing. Will the Am-Dram show in the city lift everyone’s spirits? Guess we have to listen and find out!
Extraction – Friday April 42
Want to curl up at home with the film Chris Hemsworth? Silly question, we know. In the film, the Thor The actor plays Tyler Rake, a fearless black market mercenary with nothing to lose when his expertise is asked to save a kidnapped son from a jailed international crime ruler. The synopsis continues: “But in the dark world of arms dealers and drug dealers, a deadly mission is approaching the impossible, forever changing the lives of Rake and the boy.”
